Animal testing is a lot more serious than it seems. It is a process where animals are used to test the safety of new drugs, makeup products, and other substances and chemicals. While it is used as a way to test the safety of new products before humans use them, it is a very cruel and harmful process to the animals. They get injected with harmful chemicals and are often left in pain and distress because of the testing process.

Why should you care? About 50 to 100 million animals, like mice, rats, dogs, pigs, cats, sheep, and rabbits are used and ABUSED annually in laboratory experiments in the United States, according to the National Humane Education Society.
